For new buyers stepping into the stone purchasing market, navigating product selection, customization, pricing, and logistics can be a daunting task. To address these pain points, we have compiled a comprehensive Q&A based on real interactions between stone buyers and suppliers, covering key topics from product availability to payment terms.
1. Product Selection & Customization: Can I Order Items from the Website/Catalog, and Customize Sizes/Colors?
Many beginners wonder whether they can purchase products beyond the initially quoted list and tailor them to their specific needs. Buyers are free to select products from both our website and catalog, not just the initially provided price list. Additionally, customized sizes are available to meet your unique requirements.
2. Pricing Inquiries: How to Obtain Quotes for Specific Products
Get in touch with us, we will provide an e-catalog upon request. You can specify the items, the size and the quantity you are interested in to receive a prompt quotation.
3. Where do the stones come from?
Different types of stones originate from different regions: Granite is sourced from Quanzhou; Marble comes from Hebei; Basalt is from Inner Mongolia.
4. Packaging & Loading: How Are Stones Packed?
Concerns about product safety during transit are common among new buyers, and proper packaging plays a key role in ensuring protection. Here’s how we pack different stone products:
Garden décor items: Typically packed in wooden crates and on pallets.
Stone gifts, crafts, and beauty & health appliances: Mainly packed in carton boxes, gift boxes, and pouch bags.
Pebbles & gravel: Widely packed in UV-protected plastic bags and ton bags.
Over the years, we have been continuously upgrading the quality of our packaging and refining its details. Leveraging our rich export experience, we always provide the best-quality and most cost-effective packaging solutions for your purchases.
5. Damage Prevention & After-Sales: What If Products Are Damaged During Transit?
While we take strict packaging measures, it’s natural for buyers to worry about potential damage. Here’s our approach to damage prevention and after-sales support:
Low damage risk: Thanks to the inherent hardness of stone and our robust packaging, the risk of transit damage is extremely low.
After-sales support: In the unlikely event that damage occurs, we offer after-sales assistance (e.g., a discount on your next order as compensation). We advise you to contact us promptly with your feedback upon receiving the goods.
6. Delivery Timeline: How Long Does It Take to Receive a Shipment?
For garden décor items such as stone animals, fountains, birdbaths, tables, benches, and lanterns, we do not keep stock. Production will start only after an order is placed. Normally, an order for one container takes approximately 30-40 days to complete production and prepare for shipment. The total delivery time largely depends on your order quantity and the complexity of the products you purchase.
7. Payment Terms: What Payment Methods Are Accepted?
We accept payments via TT, L/C, Western Union, and PayPal. Credit card payments are also accepted through the Alibaba Trade Assurance order process. For orders with a total value of ≤ 5,000 USD, we require 100% payment in advance. For orders with a total value of > 5,000 USD, a 30% deposit is required upfront, and the balance must be paid within 7 days after shipment, based on a copy of the Bill of Lading (B/L).
8. Do You Provide Samples? Are Samples Free or Extra?
Free samples are available only for items that we keep in stock year-round, such as jade rollers, Guasha boards, and small-sized Himalayan salt lamps. For other items (including customized samples and specialized packaging), additional sample fees will be charged accordingly. Please check with our sales team for more details.
